Giving Our Time and Resources

Young Professional Leaders (YPL) was started in 2009 for United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta donors under the age of 40 who share a passion for community involvement and philanthropy, coupled with a strong drive to make a positive impact.

The goal of YPL is to build a network of these like-minded emerging leaders in metro Atlanta and provide a forum in which to engage them in this shared passion. We strive to be the organization of choice for metro Atlanta’s rising young leaders who are committed to pledging their time and resources to help build sustainable communities.

YPL’s operating imperatives are directly aligned with the four pillars of United Way: Philanthropy, Advocacy, Volunteerism and Leadership. These four pillars serve as a framework for how members of YPL engage and connect with the community to promote thriving individuals and families across the metro Atlanta region.

YPL members also like to have fun and we host many exclusive events for our members around the Atlanta area during the year to further promote networking and social engagement.
