 Summer Time = Fun Time

United Way 2-1-1 is starting to gather summer camp/program information to make it available to the community at large. Every year, United Way 2-1-1 answers more and more calls from parents looking to enroll their children in summer activities. During 2007, there were 726 calls to the 2-1-1 line and 681 web searches made on the 2-1-1 website. By listing your summer camp in the 2-1-1 database, referrals to it will be made based on the callers' zip code. It will also be listed in the 2-1-1 database online were people can be directed to your website via a link.

If your agency is going to be providing a summer camp or a summer program and would like to have it listed in the United Way 2-1-1 database, send an email to Nhora Plehn at nplehn@unitedwayatlanta.org or call 404.614.6248.

In order to avoid having your agency deactivated or removed from the United Way 2-1-1 database, please make sure to update your information at least once a year. Updates can be done on the Internet. Send an email to uw211_emailupdates@unitedwayatlanta.org to request your agency's ID and password.
