Katrina evaluations

United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta commissioned an independent evaluation by a consulting company of its activities, services, and functions in assisting Hurricane Katrina evacuees.
The goal was to evaluate the results of our efforts and to plan and prepare better for future catastrophic events.
The Stakeholders evaluation (pdf) includes information, opinions and lessons learned of community providers, task force members, government agencies, faith-based organizations, and volunteers.
The Evacuee evaluation (pdf) was a survey of a sampling of evacuees in the metropolitan Atlanta area to determine how well their needs were met and their current situation helped.
The Subgroup evaluation (pdf) was information from evacuees who met the criteria of 1) planning to stay in Atlanta and 2) employed in the Gulf Coast area before Hurricane Katrina.
