United Way WINGs (Women's Initiative Next Generation) is a part of United Way Women's Legacy that mobilizes the next
generation of women to become powerful community leaders. United Way WINGs empowers up-and-coming women to become
philanthropists in our community through leadership training, fundraising, and advocacy. United Way WINGs members
are seeking opportunities to connect to the community in a meaningful way, while experiencing rich personal and
professional development.
Who is a part of WINGs?

United Way WINGs members give $250 or more to United Way and are between 21 and 40 years old. These young women
are ready to lead the way in our community and come together for professional and personal growth. Many companies
throughout metro Atlanta have nominated young women in their organizations to serve as United Way WINGs captains.
Each captain then enlists other women both inside her company and through her personal network, continuously enriching
the community and development opportunities.
What are the benefits of joining?

- Community engagement and professional development opportunities
- Invitations to participate in interactive discussions of important social issues with community leaders
- Year-round United Way engagement and volunteer service project opportunities
- Exclusive invitations to career development and networking events with some of Atlanta's most powerful businesswomen and community leaders
- Opportunities to serve in key volunteer leadership roles for United Way
