WHAT WE DO

United Way Tocqueville Society donors provide support to thousands of individuals who need help and connect with others who share their passion.

Tocqueville Society of Greater Atlanta recognizes local philanthropic leaders and volunteer champions who devote their funds and talents to creating sustainable change by tackling our community’s most pressing problems.

The United Way Tocqueville Society was formed in March of 1984. One year later, Howell Adams, the inaugural chair, brought the Tocqueville Society to Atlanta.
