United Way of Greater Atlanta is proud to offer boardDigest – designed to provide corporations, nonprofit organizations or small businesses with customizable in-house training for their employees about effective nonprofit governance.

Various levels of training may be needed by potential board members prior to serving on a nonprofit board. This may include roles and responsibilities of board members, examining financial statements, the boards role in fundraising, how to minimize your risk of personal liability and more.

boardDigest is designed to enhance your company’s Corporate Social Responsibility profile while contributing to employee recruitment and retention. Our training package of transferable skills was developed from our experience in training more than 1,800 board members and hundreds of nonprofit organizations.

boardDigest is an excellent use of your training dollars, a wise investment in your employees or board members, and a great way to support your community.

If you are interested in bringing boardDigest in-house, contact Janice Robinson, 404.614.1019 or jrobinson@unitedwayatlanta.org, to discuss program design and cost.
