25 Years Later and Still VIP LEADS.
25 years of impacting communities through next level board leadership training, equipping diverse volunteers with the proper tools to serve as effective leaders for the 350+ nonprofit agencies throughout Greater Atlanta.
The year is a celebration of the more than 2,200 VIP graduates who’ve worked tirelessly to get the necessary fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, financial and legal decision-making skills from the 10-week VIP training program. Skills gained are used to serve local nonprofit board positions, helping to set policies, assist with community investment and make lasting impact in the communities we live, work and play.
We celebrate VIP participants who are leading community volunteers. Our goal is to add to the nonprofit board-worthy leaders in our community to 175 each year. Since the start of the VIP program, 2,200 represented across 1,300 different companies have volunteered over 1,000,000 hours to more than 350 local nonprofit agencies.
For VIP’s 25th Anniversary Celebration, by raising $50,000, we can help local nonprofits receive the value of VIP trained volunteers to serve on their boards and fund scholarships for those within the community interested in board service.
Dollars raised will support in 3 impactful areas.
- Scholarship Funding. Support members of the community who want to serve on local nonprofit boards but are unable to raise the VIP required $500 program fundraising amount.
- Fund Training Grants. Help local nonprofit agencies develop and train strong boards to further local organizations’ goals and community impact.
- Expand the VIP Program. Through dollars raised, help VIP add an additional day of training that will result in increasing the number of VIP graduates who can assist more agencies.
