United Way of Greater Atlanta awards small grants to fund projects that address some of Greater Atlanta’s biggest challenges. The STEMUp Youth Maker Prize is focused on providing an opportunity for middle and high school-aged students to submit innovative STEM-related ideas to solve problems in their communities.
Calling all Young People! United Way of Greater Atlanta is pleased to announce the 2019 STEMUp Youth Maker Prize. This live competition modeled after the television show “Shark Tank” is an opportunity to empower middle and high school-aged students to use their voices and leadership to improve their communities through innovative, STEM-related ideas. Winning applicants will receive a small grant to implement their idea. Prizes will be awarded at a United Way of Greater Atlanta event on November 19, 2019.
Application Deadline is October 4, 2019.
