Information obtained from our 2-1-1 Contact Center is critical to maintaining a connection to the needs of each community United Way serves. 2-1-1 connects people, 24/7, to the resources necessary to address everyday challenges of living, as well as those that develop during times of emergencies.
Last year, 2-1-1 received 856 contacts from Cherokee County, and the top 5 needs are shown below.
Trained volunteers are charged with ensuring that our agency partners are meeting the goals set for our community in the areas of education, income, health and homelessness. This ensures that donor contributions are invested wisely in programs that are improving the lives of Cherokee County residents in need.
