The campgrounds at the Speedway are currently open and accepting evacuees. The campgrounds will be open for free to dry RV and tent campers. A limited amount of spaces with water, power and sewer will also be available for $20 a night.
GEORGIA STATE PARKS
Evacuees and their pets are welcome in Georgia’s State Parks. PARKPASS and pet fees will be waived for evacuees. Some stables are available for horses. Campsites and cabins are available at regular rates, and “dry camping” is free during this emergency event. Group Shelters are also available at parks with power and water. Check www.GaStateParks.org for hurricane policies and status updates.
