Systems Thinking in the South: Integrated Service Delivery
For nonprofit practitioners, getting services to those who need them is the heart of what we do. How we accomplish this remains a complex challenge, and the benefit we seek to provide is often impacted by multiple systems outside of what one agency can deliver alone. We kicked off 2019 with a discussion on Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) – a model that innovates in the face of these challenges, and ultimately leads to better outcomes for more people.
Ralph Gildehaus, Senior Program Director at MDC, shared best practices in developing and delivering integrated care across focus areas, and feature how the Greater Guilford Network is applying new technology platforms to amplify the impact of ISD.
John R. Moeller, Jr., President and CEO at Lutheran Services of Georgia, shared how an ISD approach helps hundreds of refugees each year achieve economic self-sufficiency, integrate successfully into their new communities and country, and strive for citizenship.
