The Medical Reserve Corps is a network of community-based health volunteers established to meet the public health needs of their communities. No medical experience is necessary, and training is required.
Volunteers are needed to:
Assist with response to epidemics and pandemics, such as COVID-19
Support mass public shelter operations including medical services
Provide and support community health education
Help with setting up and operating public health screening or vaccination clinics
Help set up temporary medical and public health facilities (e.g., tent facility)
Assist local authorities with translation and interpretation need for incidents
