Volunteers are needed to provide online mentorship to students seeking college educations. The Scholarship Academy partners with schools and districts to teach students about the Financial Aid and Scholarship process to ensure that they have a healthy knowledge of financial aid. Through their intensive curriculum, volunteers teach students how to accomplish the following: college funding planning, developing your scholarship brand, tailored scholarship research, and competitive writing.
The program is implemented in cohort models of 50 students at each school, and students are provided “whole school supports” via Scholarship Lunches, to an additional 200 students at each school.
Volunteers will connect with students remotely, through an online platform that allows for chats and facilitates the mentorship process.
