Event Details

On Saturday, April 13, The Shoebox Project will be popping up near you! Come out and volunteer with the United Way of Greater Atlanta Volunteerism team and your local United Way county office to support the nonprofits working in your area.

The Shoebox Project, in its 14th year, is a city-wide initiative that brings toiletries and basic necessities to homeless and low-income families and children. Volunteers are needed to assemble shoeboxes, fill with needed items, and decorate as a gift. At the Pop-Ups, non-profits working in each region will be picking up Shoeboxes for their families that very day!

Bring your family, friends, groups, organizations and others to volunteer! Choose one of the Shoebox Project “Pop Up” projects locations happening near you.

All ages are welcome! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
