Youth United Board Application
Opening April 2020

Applications for the 2020-2021 school year will be open from April – August. Interviews will be held during the months of July and August.

Board Members receive monthly leadership trainings to develop skills in the areas of advocacy, media marketing, project planning, public speaking, and more. From special guest speakers to a trip to the Capitol, these students get an inside look at making change in Greater Atlanta. Participants must be juniors or seniors, and will go through an application and interview process. The program is at no cost to participants, and the board term is September – May.

Open to students who are:

  • Rising 11th or 12th grade students
  • Community-minded
  • Able to commit to twice monthly meetings throughout school year (mainly in the downtown ATL area)
