Together, we have helped improve more than 400,000 lives

…and we’re only getting started. The last few years have been some of the most challenging ones yet, but individuals and organizations across Greater Atlanta have shown us what happens when we unite for more.

Big Things Happened This Past Year

  • We launched the COVID-19 Response and Recovery Fund with the Community Foundation and raised more than $28.2 million to assist nonprofits working on the front lines to support our region’s most vulnerable workers and families.
  • We gave more than $42 million in grants to 222 nonprofit partners for sustainable change in our community.
  • We continued with the Emergency Housing Assistance Program and have helped 10,000 individuals stay in their homes since the program's inception in 2020.
  • Because of our donors, United Way of Greater Atlanta and its partners provided assistance to nearly 408,000 individuals and families across our 13-county footprint.
  • Through a new, targeted open funding RFP process, we invested in 32 nonprofits that are small; grassroots; and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC)-led organizations.
