Early Learning Career Pathway fills Greater Atlanta’s need for qualified substitutes, while providing training for those seeking job opportunities in childcare and education.
Greater Atlanta is in continual need of qualified education and childcare substitutes, but many people who desire a career in early childhood education lack the credentials to get started.
United Way helps bridge the gap for early education providers through courses, first-aid certification, background checks, continuing education and paid internships.
To date, the program has produced nearly 4,000 graduates and conducted more than 183 courses. Thousands of graduates now have the credentials they need to embark on a new career helping children thrive in an early learning environment.
