Partners Advancing Childhood Education (PACE) is a school readiness initiative that aims to ensure children enter school ready to learn.

The Issue

Children who enter school ready to learn, are more likely to succeed, while parents, schools and supporting programs must work together in a sustainable and systematic fashion in order to benefit those children at risk of falling behind.

United Way's Role

United Way’s funding for PACE helps provide technical assistance and resources to the 13 counties in Greater Atlanta to address the early learning needs of young children.

The Results

To date, PACE has provided support to more than 3,500 children and families, providing a replicable model for increased parent knowledge and strengthened family engagement practices in early learning settings.
